Cambridge Innovation Capital (CIC) announces that it will be presenting at the third UBS Disruptive Technology CEO Summit 2017, taking place on Tuesday 26th September 2017 at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.
Victor Christou, Chief Executive Officer of CIC will be the first keynote speaker of the day, presenting from 10:40am to 11:00am local time.
The UBS Disruptive Technology CEO Summit invites Chairmen, CEOs, entrepreneurs, industry consultants, and financial investors to participate and share their experiences as proven market disruptors. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions and opportunities for participants to network with other thought-leaders and fellow disruptors. Topics will revolve around broader disruptive themes, including next generation computing, healthcare, consumer, manufacturing and sustainability.
CIC was founded in 2013 as an initiative by the University of Cambridge to create a trusted local entity that would be able to provide support and growth capital to promising businesses arising from the University and the Cambridge Cluster.
CIC’s ambition is to build category leaders in rapidly growing technology sectors. Building such companies requires patience: technology businesses which grow to a billion-dollar valuation in the UK have, on average, taken over eight years to reach that valuation.
To date CIC has committed over £80 million to 21 high potential companies in the technology and healthcare sectors.
